My name is Moriah Lee Turner and I am a freelance seamstress, fashion designer and costume designer in Chicago. Originaly from St. Louis, Missouri, I have been living and working in Chicago for 7 years. After graduating from Columbia College Chicago in 2014 with a BFA in Theater (Costume Design) I have worked as a freelance designer and seamstress on many theatrical and dance productions. I am also a resident designer for a childrens dance company in Glenview, Il, where I design and construct multiple dance costumes for competition dances. When I am not designing costumes I am creating custom clothing including wedding gowns, bridesmaid dresses, formal gowns, etc.

I have  experience working in David's Bridal alterations department as a full time alterations specialist as well as professionally working as a seamstress for theatrical and educational institutions

 

I am currently working full time at  Ette Tailor, in Lakeview, Chicago.
